TOKIO -

Este viernes, un sismo de 6.9 grados en la escala de Richter azotó a la isla de Okinawa, Japón, con una profundidad de 10 kilómetros a las 5:31 horas de la madrugada hora local; el siniestro disparó la alerta de tsunami en la región que hace unos momentos fue dada de baja.

Con una predicción mínima de olas de un metro de altura por parte de las autoridades japonesas, al momento no se reportan daños ni víctimas.

El epicentro fue localizado a 81 kilómetros al sur de Okinawa y a 461 kilómetros de Ishigaki-jima.
