27 Empresas Abandonan Licitación de Espectro Cofetel

CIUDAD DE M�XICO -

El día de hoy, la Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones (Cofetel), publicó la lista completa de las empresas interesadas en participar en la licitación de las bandas de 1.9 y 1.7 GHz.

Entre un total de 17 empresas interesadas, destacaron las unidades mexicanas de América Móvil y la española Telefónica, informó la Cofetel.

Más de 20 empresas que inicialmente participarían en la licitación abandonaron la contienda.

MVS, Maxcom, Axtel, Marcatel, Cablevisión y Alcatel fueron algunas de las 27 compañías que no continuaron en la competencia.

Televisa y Nextel, quienes se encuentran participando bajo la sociedad Grupo de Inversionistas Nextel-Televisa S.A. de C.V., buscarán ganar alguna de las 2 licitaciones; de no lograrse, la alianza deberá ser disuelta conforme al acuerdo establecido por Televisa.
