La pornografía infantil en la internet se ha decuplicado en los últimos cinco años, dijo el jueves un alto funcionario español.

El número de casos aumentó de 108 en 2004 a 1.024 el año pasado, dijo Francisco Villanueva, del ministerio del Interior.

También aumentaron otros delitos relacionados con la internet.

La ciberpiratería aumentó de 92 a 447 casos, y el fraude bancario de 509 a 1.954 casos en el mismo período, dijo Villanueva.

El robo de propiedad intelectual decreció levemente de 330 a 298 casos, dijo Villanueva, pero agregó que si no se vuelcan mayores recursos a combatir la piratería, España podría perder hasta 300.000 empleos.

La industria musical reportó una caída de ingresos del 60% en dos años.

Villanueva dijo que los niveles de ciberdelito en España son similares a los de sus vecinos europeos.
